Move and rename commercial skip metadata with wtv file

First off great program.

The one thing that would be great is if the program could move and rename the metadata created by showahalyzer with the wtv file.

I am using Showanalyzer and trying to use wtv-metarenamer.  I analyze my shows live while running so I can watch them immediately.  I just create the commercials xml file and do not edit or convert the show.  I  just have media center skip the commercials using the xml file.  Renaming the file breaks the connection with the commercials xml file.

What I am wanting to do is have wtv-metarenamer rename and move the commercials xml file with the wtv.  So last night I recorded Rescue Me creating Rescue Me_FXHD_2011_07_27_21_58_00.wtv   and Showanalyzer created this file Rescue Me_FXHD_2011_07_27_21_58_00.xml. Both of these files are in the Recdorded TV folder.  What I want is to have both files moved to my  ...\Rescue Me\Season 7\ directory.  So moving and renaming Rescue Me_FXHD_2011_07_27_21_58_00.* would work as would moving Rescue Me_FXHD_2011_07_27_21_58_00.wtv and Rescue Me_FXHD_2011_07_27_21_58_00.wtv.

..\Rescue Me_FXHD_2011_07_27_21_58_00.wtv    becomes  ..\Rescue Me\Season 7\Rescue Me - S07E03 - Press.wtv

..\Rescue Me_FXHD_2011_07_27_21_58_00.xml    becomes  ..\Rescue Me\Season 7\Rescue Me - S07E03 - Press.xml

Is there anyway to do this with WTV_metarenamer?

Thanks for the suggestion.

As it stands, the script cannot do this but it should not be too hard to add an option to support it. I'll make it a work item so that it is in my queue of things to do :-)

Thanks, I'll look forward to it. It will help me clean up my media center a little.

I did find a work around. If I keep my renamed and sorted Recorded TV files as in sub directories of my original Recorded TV folder, Show analyzer creates metadata files for both the original files and the moved and renamed files. Since the metadata files can be kept in a separate folder and are only 1k in size it is no big deal to have multiple files. It just uses some extra computer cycles and a small amount of disk space
