I had this working just fine on a different PC. Now that I'm trying to set it up on a new one, I'm getting an error in Powershell that I don't understand. Can someone point me in the right direction? This is on Windows 7 Home Premium Sp1 64bit using the PowerShell that is included. I followed the Steps in the PDF to allow remotesigned content and I unblocked the ps1 file. Thanks in advance for any help.

here's the powershell output when run from a command line:
Exception calling "Load" with "1" argument(s): "an error occured while parsing EntityName. Line 5, position 23. "C:\wtv_renamer\WTV-MetaRenamer.ps1:686 char:19
+ $series_list.Load <<<< <"$data_loc\SeriesList.xml">
       +CategoryInfo : NotSpecified: <:> [], MethodInvocationException
       +FullyQualifiederrorId : DotNetMethodException
And here's a truncated copy of the Log file that was created at the same time:

OK, I changed some permissions on the XML files and all folders invovled and things seem to be working now. Except I can't run any of the ps1 scripts by right clicking and choosing run with powershell, I can only run them from within powershell using the command lines. This also means that I can't get the .bat file to work. What am I doing wrong?

What happens when you choose "Run with Powershell"?

What happens if you run the .bat file in a command window so that you can see any error messages?

Hi pcolmer,

I've got it now. When I ran the .bat file from a command window, it said that I was not authorized to run scripts or something along those lines.. Turns out that I enabled RemoteSigned with in the 64 bit Powershell but that the default Powershell is 32 bit. I authorized RemoteSigned within the 32 bit Powershell and all is well now.

Thanks for your help!
